Is vaping allowed on the plane?

The rules on where you can and can't vape have changed a lot in the short time since e-cigarettes became popular, so when it comes to the rules it's understandable that there are lots of people scratching their heads. As a group, vapers are very conscientious and are always looking to learn more.

Federal regulation prohibits the use of vapor products on any domestic or foreign airline flying to, from or within the United States. Passengers are still allowed to carry their e-cigarettes and e-liquid with them in their carry-on luggage. Despite being able to carry them on board a flight, passengers and crew are not allowed to charge their e-cigarettes during a flight, so make sure to unplug your Eleaf iStick TC 40W mod before take-off.

Vapers also need to be aware that e-cigarettes and e-liquid can only be transported in carry-on, as the ruling bans passengers from having e-cigarettes packed in their checked luggage. If you're travelling abroad, it's also worth making yourself aware of the rules about travelling with e-liquid if you're planning on taking your favorite e-liquid with you.

Make sure to empty your clearomizer and wrap up your e-liquid bottles before placing in your bag. It's also a good idea to check the vaping regulations of the airport you're visiting as these rules can vary.
